So, uh, yeah. It’s been a while. We resolve to not let so many days pass between shows in 2015 (until Baker’s twins come. Might miss a few around then.). We’re sorry we’ve been away, and we missed y’all.
Anyway, today on the show, we talk about the renewal we feel here in the new year and the way that affects the creative process, especially with writing. Is it better to take on resolutions that are project-based or that have a daily word count goal this year? How do you navigate your writing goals when you know there are big life events coming your way? Or, how about juggling new writing when you have a book coming out and keeping focused on the writing work instead of the publicity? What if you’ve just finished writing a trilogy and you now have to reinvent your work and start something completely fresh? And, will this be the year that Tommy finally gives in to technology? He did get an iPhone for Christmas, you know…
Listen in and hear us decide live on the podcast what our New Year’s Writing Resolutions are–and keep us to them! And hey, what are your writing goals for this year? Let us know in the comments!
